Registration Details 

Course Location 

The SVS Short Courses will be held September 16 - 18, 2002 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Ilkovicova 3, 812 19 Bratislava, Slovakia, Europe. Phone #421.2.60.29.11.11. The short course registration location is at ground floor in block B, the desk will opens at 8:00 am.

Schedule & Class Materials

Courses will begin at 9:00 a.m., finish at 5:30 p.m., and have a 1 hour lunch break. Students are encouraged to visit the exhibition during class breaks and lunch breaks. Lunch is not included in your registration fee.

Attendees may obtain class materials in the short course registration room from 8:00 a.m.-9:30 a.m. on course days. Certificates of completions will be given to all students attending the full course.

Registration Deadline Policy

Space is limited in all courses, and pre-registration is strongly advised. Register on-site is on a first-come, first-served basis, but please e-mail or call the SVS office first for information on class availability. Complete and return the registration form to enroll. Upon receipt of your registration form and payment, we will send you a written confirmation.

Pre-registration Payment-Important! To ensure your place in the course(s) of your choice, please be sure your registration form and payment are received by the SVS office no later than Tuesday, September 2, 2002.

Late Registration Payment -- Following the September 2, 2002 - the pre-registration deadline, please complete and return the registration form. Payment at registration desk only. 

Cancellations

If notice of cancellation is received on of before September 2, 2002, fees will be refunded. There will be no refunds after September 2, 2002 -- and no refunds for individuals who do not show up for their course(s).

The SVS offers two types of fee discounts:

Later Payment, after Tuesday, September 2, 2002, pay on-site, at registration desk in Cash only. In this case please register and contact the SVS office first. 
 To ensure your place in the course(s) of your choice, please be sure your registration form and payment are received by the SVS office. 

How to Register

By Fax: Fax your completed registration form to organizers at #421.2.65.42.04.15. Fax and internet reservations (non credit card payment) will be held for 10 days pending receipt of the registration form and either the course fee or a letter of commitment. If a letter of commitment is sent, fees must be received by the pre-registration deadline.

By Mail: Mail the completed registration form and payment or letter of commitment to Short Course Registration, Attn.: Eva Dvorecka.

By WWW: Fill out the online registration form and press sent. Note: Online reservations will be held for 10 days pending receipt of the course fee or a letter of commitment. If a letter of commitment is sent, fees must be received by the pre-registration deadline. You will receive an e-mail confirmation letter within 3-4 business days, or by mail in 7-10 business days after registering on line. Payment must still be sent to the SVS and received by September 2, 2002.
